I was looking for a largest heat-resistant glass pitcher here, and this was the one (1800ml as per description). Actually, it can hold almost 2.0L, has a great look and I can fill it up with a boiling water without any risk. ----By Robert

I have been looking for a large glass pitcher that will withstand the heat of boiling water for steeping bags for iced tea. Thanks to other reviewers who have used this for the same reason, I am very pleased with this purchase. I do agree that the silicone ring could be made to fit snugger so that you don't have to hold the lid while pouring but I can definitely live with this minor problem. ----By David

Big glass pitcher. I drop a few orange slices in with a slice of ginger and fill with water. Excellent water with a hint if orange/ginger. Very refreshing on a hot day. Nothing to dislike about this pitcher. Easy to clean and since it's glass there is no plastic contamination. I recommend this pitcher and would buy it again. ----By Louie
